Kelly Gordine are pleased to partner with this family office / law firm in their search for an additional litigation lawyer to work on a wide range of contentious matters across the group's businesses in this quasi in-house position.
In this highly unique position, you will be employed by the group's law firm but enjoy unparalleled work-life balance and no billable hours targets - this is because you will work on a very broad range of commercial litigation matters, for a variety of businesses owned by the family office, spanning everything from manufacturing, healthcare, education, professional services and other companies.
The work will include everything from complex Supreme Court matters to general commercial disputes, insolvency, enforcement and recovery matters. While external counsel (from top law firms) are still engaged for specialised areas of law, you'll be expected to be able to run with litigation and be confident and credible in this position involving working directly with key stakeholders across the various businesses.
You will have excellent drafting and advocacy skills, hold a current NSW practicing certificate and be excited to work in this unique and highly rewarding position where you can enjoy the breadth of an incredible practice but also your life outside of the office.
